Job Title: Support Worker – CAMHS Children Services

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Support Workers to work wit CAMHS service users.
You will play a crucial role in supporting children with a variety of needs, including emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide day-to-day support to children in residential, community, or home settings.
– Promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
– Implement individual care and support plans in line with the child’s needs.
– Assist with daily routines including meals, education support, and recreational activities.
– Support children with emotional regulation, social skills, and behaviour management.
– Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
– Work collaboratively with families, social workers, education staff, and other professionals.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children in a care or support setting.
– An understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people.
– Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
– Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or Childcare (desirable).
