We’re recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker to help guide, mentor and support a team within a nurturing home for children with emotional and behavioural needs in Salford and Stockport. What You’ll Be Doing:
Acting as a shift leader, setting the tone and expectations for junior staff
Supporting the Registered Manager with compliance, team development, and safeguarding
Building strong and trusting relationships with children aged 8–18
Contributing to care planning, behaviour management and incident reporting
Ensuring a homely, therapeutic environment where children can grow and thrive

About You:
Must hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)
Strong experience working in a support role with vulnerable children
Confident leading a team, making decisions, and handling safeguarding concerns
Approachable, calm, and focused on positive outcomes
A driver’s licence is preferred but not essential
