Senior Management Accountant | £44,000 – £50,000 | Financial Services | Qualified or Part Qualified

We are currently working with one of the UKs fasted growing Financial Services Groups who are looking for a Group Management Accountant to join their Group Finance team based in Cheadle. This role will offer hybrid working, and welcomes candidates to work from home although fully remote candidates can not be considered.

This role will offer a broad range of experience, exposure and responsibility, whilst requiring someone to be able to get into the detail to ensure accuracy. This role will report into the Group Head of Finance and work within a 16 strong finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity that will best suit a hands-on person who is hungry for a new challenge. You will be well supported in the role whilst being part of a fast moving, growth driven business.

Key responsibilities:

End to end oversight for own area of the Group management accounts
Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries within reporting deadlines
Reviews of financial information and supporting schedules prepared by management accountants
Presentation of information to senior stakeholders
Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, such as divisional finance and external auditors
Uphold key controls that form part of the Financial Control Framework, ensuring an effective control environment
Assisting with the planning and implementation of finance project work, including cross functional teams
Prepare and review other information as required by internal and external stakeholders, such as regulatory returns, tax returns and financial statement disclosure workings.
Complete ad hoc project work as required
Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute towards a culture of continuous improvement
Key Requirements

ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualified or Finalist preferred 
Experience in management account preparation.
Keen understanding of month end processes.
Excellent excel and analytical skills.
Experience in process review Benefits include
