Teaching Personnel are working with a 'GOOD' Primary School in Longsight who are looking to appoint 2 SEN TAs to join their team on a full time basis in September 2022. 

The Head Teacher and Senior Leaders of the School are looking for 2 TAs who will work closely with children across KS1 and KS2 to help them to develop both academically and emotionally. The role will be to support a number of children with needs such as ASC, ADHD and SEMH who work from Educational Health Care Plans. The school are looking for applicants who have experience working with challenging behaviours. Training will also be provided. 

To be considered for one of the posts, you will have an SEN qualification, experience working with children or adults with special educational needs and will be free on a full time basis from September. Both roles are full time and will run for the duration of the academic year. The opportunity for extension into the following year may also be possible. 

The roles are to work in a Primary School that was most recently graded as 'GOOD' by Ofsted. The Senior Leaders of the school are dedicated to creating an inclusive learning environment for all children and are looking for 2 TAs who will get stuck in to all areas of school life. 

The ideal candidate will:

– Have experience supporting children or adults with special educational needs 

– Have experience working and ammending educational health care plans 

– Hold a SEN qualification or equivalent 

– Have a compassionate and understanding nature 

– Have a passion for working with and encouraging children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
