The Opportunity Are you an organised, proactive individual with experience in production planning? Join a leading vehicle body workshop in Trafford Park as our new Production Planner, where you’ll be instrumental in ensuring seamless production flow across our supply chain and factory operations. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to translate demand forecasts into an effective production schedule. Key Responsibilities
Plan production workloads and suppliers’ schedules, identifying and mitigating risks
Maintain up-to-date schedules with clear, accurate information for all stakeholders
Ensure timely ordering and allocation of materials to meet On Time In Full (OTIF) targets while minimising inventory
Monitor schedule adherence and report on relevant KPIs, raising any concerns promptly
Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and supplier delivery performance
What You’ll Need
Previous experience as a Production Planner (essential)
Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with multiple departments and external partners
Resilience and the ability to remain composed under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Collaborative mindset, able to work well with various teams across the business
