PE Teacher – SEN School (Stockport)
Start Date: 5 January 2026
Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a welcoming SEN school in Stockport from 5th January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people with special educational needs.
🔹 About the Role:
Deliver engaging and accessible PE lessons tailored to meet a range of SEN needs
Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists to create a positive learning environment
Promote physical development, confidence, and wellbeing through varied and inclusive activities
Contribute to whole-school life and support pupils' holistic development
Full-time position starting after the Christmas break
🔹 About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working within an SEN setting is desirable but not essential
Strong behaviour-management skills and a compassionate, patient approach
Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse needs and abilities
A genuine commitment to supporting young people to achieve their potential
