Parts and Warehouse Manager

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Parts and Warehouse Manager based in Manchester. You could earn up to £45,000 per annum depending on your experience.

Previous management experience is essential for this role.

If you have the following, then the answer is yes!

Experience in the automotive/commercial body building sector is desirable but not mandatory.
Strong leadership and good communication/organisation skills required.
Motivation and professionalism.
Flexible -maybe required to work weekends and overtime during busy periods.
Experience and in-depth knowledge in the complete warehousing and logistics area (receiving, picking, packing, shipping).
Previous management experience within a fast-paced warehouse environment, leading by example.
Ensuring that all products are sent out accurately.
Understanding of manual handling requirements and legislation.
Knowledge of health and safety within a warehouse environment.
Able to use IT packages (including Microsoft word and excel).
What will my role as a Parts and Warehouse Manager look like?

Organising distribution of raw materials to factory.
Managing a small team.
Responsibility for goods in – ensuring that deliveries are correct and complete as per the delivery note and purchase order.
Managing the process of picking, packing and dispatching of orders within agreed deadlines.
Reducing damage with stock rotation.
Stock control, counting and labelling.
Stock replenishment.
Efficient utilization of the warehouse and yard area.
Train and Monitor staff, including new starter inductions, in line with company procedures.
Review and where necessary replace warehouse process and procedures.
