A national commercial firm with an exceptional reputation in the market – both nationally and in the North West- is undergoing an exciting period of further development and growth and looking to recruit a PA for their award winning Court of Protection team

My client is a leading National firm and sees the unquestionable benefit of developing a their Court of Protection offering even further and as such is keen to speak with Manchesters top performing Personal Assistants who have at least 12 months experience in a similar role

The role would primarily be a PA position, focussed on business development support requirements, to assist with a large number of referrers of work (such as Local Authorities) who require regular meetings and training sessions.

The successful candidate will be happy and able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and diary management skills. It is a unique role so self-motivation and ability to organise own time and workload is key.  

The role will be varied, but will include:

Managing Head of Department and a few solicitors’ diaries on a daily basis, including organising and scheduling meetings, room bookings and travel.
Assisting with setting up meetings, training, presentations and other events with referrers of work, sourcing content and materials and co- ordinating logistics.
Tracking the pipeline of new work and trends, following up as appropriate.
Updating/formatting/creating brochures, training slides and marketing documents to a high-standard and fast pace.
Assisting with submissions for legal awards (Chambers, Legal 500 etc).
Being a point of contact internally (for charity and CSR events with other departments) and externally (for new and ongoing work referrers).
Helping develop and improve team processes and putting forward ideas to assist efficiencies.
Otherwise assisting the Head of Court of Protection and team as requested in the management and organisation of the team.Skills/experience required for role:

Strong organisational and attention to detail skills.
Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing environments that suit the needs of the department.
Flexible with positive, can-do attitude.
It’s a unique role so it’s important to be a quick learner, proactive and self-motivated with ability to organise own time and workload.
Team player with ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
IT literate at an intermediate level with MS Office programs, in particular on Excel with use of formulas and conditional formatting and PowerPoint.
Be able to work effectively under pressure and deal with demanding workloads.
Be able to and take on responsibility, work with minimal supervision and use your own initiative to ensure tasks are completed.
