Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to support a lovely Primary School in the Hyde area. This is a full-time, long-term role, perfect for someone passionate about early years education.
Role Overview:
Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant
Location: Hyde, Tameside
Hours: Full-time, term-time
Start Date: ASAP (or January start if preferred)
Contract: Long-term, with potential to continue
Setting: Nursery / Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
The School Are Looking For:
Experience working in Nursery or EYFS settings
A nurturing, patient and proactive practitioner
Someone who can support early learning, play-based activities and children's development
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting children's learning through play and structured activities
Helping to create a warm, safe and stimulating environment
Assisting the class teacher with routines, observations and learning plans
Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents
