Our client is an international packaging supply company operating across the UK and Europe. They are in a position of growth and investment. They are looking for a sales professional with the packaging industry. You will be supported across the business to help you thrive. This role is for someone with a strong understanding of the Packaging industry ideally within flexible packaging.
Position Role:
* Strategic planning and positioning in the targeted markets
* Commercially enhance the operation of the business, position and reputation
* Integrate new accounts over to the in-house account executives
* Liaise with both domestic and overseas customers
* Visit customers regularly to maintain and grow relationships
* Attend trade shows and travel as required
Key Responsibilities:
* Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships and products – or new ways of reaching existing markets
* Pick up on all inbound business enquiries and referrals.
* Foster and develop relationships with customers
* Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
* Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business
* Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors
