IT Helpdesk Analyst

Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days at home

Trafford Park (with travel required to Humberside office)

£13.50 – £14.80 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Helpdesk Analyst on behalf of our client with offices all over the UK. This role will primarily be supporting the Trafford Park office; however, travel will be required to the Humberside office also. Candidates applying for this role must have a full clean driving licence and been a driver for 12+ months. Travel will be fully expensed, or you can use one of the company pool cars. This will be a temporary role which will initially run for a 3-month period but may be extended for the right candidate. Candidates must be available fairly immediately for interview and start. Hybrid working offered (usually 3 days in the office and 2 days at home depending on business needs).

The role of IT Helpdesk Analyst will involve providing second line IT support issues for both hardware and software related issues. Some support can be offered via telephone, however when needed face to face support will be offered.

Day to day duties will be as follows:

Supporting end users on site and remotely (hardware, software, printers, servers, local network, telephony)
Manage support requests in the service management system
Ensure correct administration of software, hardware and end user accounts
Be responsible for the local network, servers and telephony infrastructure
Ensuring compliance with information security standards for all computers, servers and infrastructure
Managing the site server room and ensure that standards are maintained
Be responsible for the installation and configuration of tools, including MS Teams, video conferencing equipment, IP phones and smart phones.
Provide training to end users on IT equipment, tools and software
Provide support to manufacturing units to resolve production related IT issues as required

Candidates for this role will have proven experience in 2nd Line IT support which will include supporting Windows 10 & Office 365, server management and a working knowledge of network infrastructure. Previous experience to operational IT within a manufacturing environment would be ideal but is not essential. You will have a structured approach to problem solving, will be able to manage multiple projects at once while remaining customer focused. The ability to develop strong working relationships is essential.
