Ideal Recruit are looking for an Mechanic/ Garage assistant to work for one of our busy clients in Walkden.
In this role you will :
Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
Attend disabled vehicles at the roadside or at customer’s premises
Liaise with third party companies to attain parts and stock
Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses

Previous garage background / experience would be advantage however full training provided will be provided
Monday – Friday
working hours between 10 am – 7 pm
