Finance Manager

Finance Manager required for our client in the Manchester area to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for VAT returns, month end journals, end of year procedures PAYE submissions and purchase and sales ledger.

The Finance Manager will have two members of staff from the finance team reporting to them, will be either AAT, ACCA, ACA or QBE, and will have experience in a similar position previously.

Finance Manager Position Overview

Sales and purchase ledger

Preparing and posting journals

Payroll

Approve purchase invoices

CIS Tax Returns

Reviewing / preparing VAT returns and submission to HMRC once approved

Processing payment runs once approved

Maintain the company bank balance

Review all bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare Year-end and liaise with external accountants

Budgeting and forecasting

Finance Manager Position Requirements

AAT, ACCA, ACA or QBE

Experience within a similar role previously

Sage 50 and Excel experience is essential

Live locally to the Manchester area

Finance Manager Position Remuneration

Salary £50,000- £55,000

Hours 9am- 5pm

Days Monday- Friday

Annual leave 20 days + bank holidays

Onsite parking
