Job Title: Customer Service Advisor

Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Pay Rate: £9.50 – £9.53

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Type: Temp – Perm

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Customer Service Advisor that has experience in making bookings in the Greater Manchester area. This is an amazing opportunity to highlight your customer service skills where you will be liaising with different departments to ensure smooth transport for deliveries.

Duties of a Customer Service Advisor

In this role you will be working in the customer service team to arrange deliveries from various distribution centres. Reporting to the team leader, you will be responsible for:

Monitoring the delivery of parcels from various stores and distribution centres
Tracking parcels
Making sure all parcels are collected and delivered on time to the correct locations
Looking into lost/misplaced parcels
General admin tasks

Skills and experience of a Customer Service Advisor

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will need:

Experience working in a customer service environment (office or retail)
Experience of using Microsoft Office software
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to work using own initiative and a sharp eye for detail

It would be beneficial to the Customer Service Advisor role if you also had:

Flexibility to work various shifts when required

About the Client

Our client is a well-known supermarket chain that has stores all over the United Kingdom, they are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis with a possibility of becoming permanent after 3 months.
