Conveyancing Team Manager
📍 Central Stockport | 🕘 Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid working available after training
A well-established conveyancing operation is looking for an experienced Team Manager with a strong background in residential property law and people leadership. If you’re confident managing a busy legal team, improving performance, and delivering a great client experience, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading a team of property lawyers, ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery
Coaching and mentoring team members to support their development and performance
Managing workload distribution, productivity, and compliance with service standards
Overseeing performance reviews, personal development plans, and regular one-to-ones
Handling early-stage client queries or complaints in line with internal processes
Collaborating with other managers to drive continuous improvement
Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members
Liaising with internal stakeholders and third parties to maintain strong working relationships
Participating in salary and budget reviews alongside senior leadership
Ensuring adherence to internal policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Significant experience in residential conveyancing
Proven ability to lead and manage a legal team
Strong people skills with a focus on development and performance management
A proactive, organised approach and attention to detail
Confident decision-maker with excellent communication skills
