The Collections Agent's primary responsibility is to interact with our clients who are behind on their payments via a variety of contact methods. Work hard to guarantee that our customers have a pleasant and professional experience. We also search for employees who have strong work ethics, the capacity to work under pressure, take initiative, and communicate well at all levels.

The role will be various, and it may include, but is not limited to:

* To be proactive in collecting client arrears via phone and written correspondence.

* Excellent time management skills, as well as the ability to create acceptable, long-term payback goals

* Arrangements

* Resolve unsuccessful agreements in a timely and suitable manner.

* Deal with a customer's changing circumstances in accordance with the company's policies and procedures for dealing with potentially vulnerable consumers.

* To do general administrative chores

* Thorough understanding of financial services regulations, laws, and guidelines, as well as the need of completing mandated training on time and under budget.

* In accordance with business policy, to address and raise any risks found throughout the course of the role.

* As needed, assist with projects / mini-initiatives within the collections function.

* Aspirational performance; be ambitious; strive to go above and beyond – reaching KPIs as a matter of course.

* Team culture — fostering a shared commitment to helping each other and our consumers.

* Collections experience, ideally within a controlled environment, is one of the most important requirements for the role.

Qualifications and Skills

* You must be computer proficient and have familiarity with Outlook and Excel.

* Strong communication abilities (written, numerical, and spoken).

* Ability to prioritise, be organised, and efficient Ability to recognise and deal with customers' sensitive conditions and ensure that the proper actions are taken

* Flexibility, including the ability to adapt to change, new methods, and deal with pressure, as well as the ability to recognise when help is needed.

* Ability to operate as part of a team but also being able to work independently

* Approach that is friendly and helpful
