To operate Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and collections across designated routes. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, route planning, compliance with transport regulations, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
1. Vehicle Operation

Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues.

Ensure the secure loading and unloading of goods, using appropriate equipment as necessary.
2. Route Management
*
Plan and follow designated routes, adjusting for traffic conditions and delivery schedules.

Maintain communication with the transport office regarding any delays or issues encountered.
3. Compliance & Documentation
*
Complete and maintain accurate delivery paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle logs.

Ensure compliance with tachograph regulations and working time directives.
*
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
4. Customer Interaction
*
Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and customers.
*
Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
5. Maintenance & Housekeeping

Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.

Adhere to company policies regarding vehicle cleanliness and maintenance schedules.
