I am currently working with a Private Equity backed Financial Services business as due to growth they are recruiting for Business Development Manager. You will be instrumental in helping the business to reach it ambitions yet achievable targets.

You will be going out to market offering a service that business not only want but need to help with cash flow which has been affected over the last 2 years. Creating key relationships both over the phone and face to face will allow you to create a real reputation for yourself as well as allow you to earn lots of commission.

Business Development Manager Package:

Salary £25,000-£27,000 DOE
Uncapped Commission with OTE first year earnings – £45,000-£50,000
An opportunity to earn equity in the business for your service
Monthly car allowance
Fuel card to cover travel to client meetings
25 days holiday
Regular team nights out/ eventsBusiness Development Manager Role:

Attend meetings set by the internal sales development team.
Book and attend self-generated meetings.
Close new business sales opportunities
Create a referral Network (accountants and business introducers)
Develop and maintain relationships with your clients.
Acquire technical knowledge of products sufficient to exceed your goals.
Produce timely and successful resolution of client escalations when appropriate.
Represent the business at conferences and trade fairs and networking events.
Source and arrange seminars with associates/ corporate partners.
Be responsible for delivering the appropriate documents from the client for the pre-qualification process and signing the client up.
Use sales techniques to identify needs and close any opportunities presented.The successful Business Development Manager will:

Have experience in Business to Business sales (internal or external) as a Business Development Manager, BDM, Business Development Executive, Sales Executive, Account Manager or Internal Sales
A track record of exceeding revenue & retention targets
