Anti-Social Behaviour Officer

IMH Recruitment are seeking an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to work in our client's Community Safety Team in Manchester.

Duties:

* Be a first point of contact for all requests.

* Triage each request and determine what action is necessary.

* Referring cases to other Housing Services where appropriate.

* Discussing complaints with the complainant and suggesting ways to resolve with intervention.

* Sending out Pre case letters to the alleged perpetrator in an attempt to address the behaviour without the need for further intervention.

* Opening a new antisocial behaviour case or referring the caller to the Housing Management Caseworker managing their case.

* Responsible for opening and responding to domestic abuse incidents reported through the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARA) process.

* Dealing with low level requests for assistance, or referring to the HMC's for further intervention.

Qualifications:

* Must have experience of managing antisocial behaviour, domestic abuse, hate incidents and property condition cases.

* A working knowledge of the QL housing management system would be beneficial.

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.

* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to conflict resolution.

* Knowledge of relevant legislation related to anti-social behaviour and community safety is advantageous.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

* Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication.

Hours & Pay:

* Monday – Friday

* 9am – 4:30pm.

* £19.79 Per Hour.
