Job Title: Air Conditioning Service Engineer
Location: Manchester (covering the North West)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
Overview
Marble Talent Group are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer based in the Manchester area. The role will involve servicing, fault finding, and maintaining air conditioning systems across the North West, with occasional travel further afield.
This is a service-focused role – not installation – ideal for an engineer who enjoys diagnostics, customer interaction, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and fault-find air conditioning systems
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Complete job reports and documentation accurately
* Liaise professionally with customers on-site
Requirements
* FGAS qualified (essential)
* NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (preferred)
* Proven experience as a service engineer (not installation-focused)
* Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Professional and customer-focused approach
Working Area & Hours
* Based mainly in the North West
* Occasional travel further afield (maximum 2 hours)
* No working away / no overnight stays
