As an Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support for day-to-day office operations. You will work 34 hours per week Monday to Friday, earning a competitive salary is minimum salary ranging from £17,680 to £21,587.28.
Key Administrator Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the Manager
* Handle incoming telephone calls and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
* Prepare purchase orders, assist in processing invoices accurately, and handle materials ordering.
* There will be some outbound telephoning to suppliers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers.
* Monitor the department mailbox and maintain electronic filing systems.
* Manage all incoming and outgoing post for the department.
* Preparation of documentation.
* Assist in diary management and arrange meetings.
* Input financial data into internal systems efficiently when requested.
* Collaborate with all departments to resolve queries.
* Support colleagues in other departments when necessary.
Requirements for Administrator:
* Ideally, a background in an Administration or experience in manufacturing would be advantageous however, training will be given.
NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent would be advantageous.
* Must have previous experience in an administrative position.
* Excellent communication skills, confident, professional telephone manner.
* A proactive and positive attitude with strong attention to detail.
* Required good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook.
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and numerate.
* A valid UK driving licence and own transport are essential.
